Star Features Available

Star Features Description Price per Month
Caller ID Displays the phone number of your caller before you answer (unless caller has CLIR activated). You'll need a caller ID unit for this. If your phone doesn't have one, we can provide you with a phone that has a caller display unit - for a very affordable price. Call waiting Lets you know if someone is trying to get through while you're on the phone and allows you to answer the second call. $2.45
Fax and Phone Gives you a different telephone number with a different ring tone for incoming fax calls. $2.45
Call divert - Remote access Lets you activate and deactivate call divert from any phone. $2.45
Call control Prevents others from making toll calls on your phone. You can make calls by entering a pin number. $2.45
Do not disturb Diverts incoming calls to a busy signal when you don't want to be interrupted. $2.45
Multiple numbers You can get up to 3 different telephone numbers with a different ring for each - for just $2.45/month per number. $2.45
Quick dial Lets you store the numbers you call most frequently so you can dial them using just 3 keys. $2.45
Reminder Call
Allows you to set your phone to ring at a specified time. $2.45
Three Way Calling
Three Way Calling allows you to set up a phone conversation with two different people in different locations. All three of you can make plans or share important information at the same time. $0.25 per use up to a maximum of $2.45 per month

More than an answering machine, TelstraClear Voice Messaging answers calls at once even if you are on the phone. So when you’re out and about or away on holidays, you’ll never have to worry about missing calls.

TelstraClear Voice Messaging keeps new messages for 21 days and stores up to 20 saved messages for 7 days. And you can check your messages from anywhere in the world.

How does it work?
It's really simple. You can find step-by-step instructions in your Telephone Guide but here's a quick rundown:

You leave a message:
We'll give you the number to call and a recorded voice will take you through the steps. You can change your outgoing message as often as you like.

You pick up messages:
If there's a message waiting for you, you'll hear a distinct tone when you pick up your phone. If a message is left while you're on the phone, your phone will ring when you hang up to let you know. You can even change the number of times your phone rings before your TelstraClear Voice Messaging is activated. It's as easy as dialling a number and following the simple prompts.
