TelstraClear Calling Card

TelstraClear Calling Card is an extension of your home phone, allowing you to make a call from almost any touch-tone phone in NZ and many other countries and charge it to your TelstraClear account.

	Want to fund a loved-one's calls back home

Pricing

Most calls are charged as if you'd phoned from home, plus a surcharge. You avoid high payphone rates and language barriers when overseas.

As an InHome customer you will have to set up a separate account for your TelstraClear Calling Card.

How to use your TelstraClear Calling Card

• To make a call using your TelstraClear Calling Card, you start by dialling a toll free number (which means you can call from any land line at no charge to the phone's owner).
  
• Easy to follow voice prompts will guide you to enter your card number – which is printed on your card – and the PIN number you select at the time you order your card.
  
• From there, you simply dial the number you wish to call. You'll see this call on your next TelstraClear bill.

Making a call

• To make a call from NZ, dial TollFree 0150, then follow the simple voice instructions (also printed on the back of your Calling Card).
  
• To make a call back to NZ from overseas, dial the toll free international access number for the country you are in, then follow the simple voice instructions.
  
• Access numbers are available in most countries, but not all.   They may also change occasionally - due to circumstances beyond our control - so it pays to double check them before you leave. Click here for access numbers.

Special features

• It costs you nothing to get a TelstraClear Calling Card, and there is no limit to the number of cards on your account.
  
• All calls will be itemised on one account, so you can see at a glance how much each cardholder has spent.
  
• Instructions on using your card are printed on the card itself, so you won't lose them, and we include a user guide with each card so you can familiarise yourself with all its features.

Optional features

Contact us to get these features enabled:

• Speed dialling: Are you constantly calling the same few numbers using your TelstraClear Calling Card? You can select up to 9 commonly called numbers to be programmed as speed dialling codes, replacing the full phone number with just one digit. You'll find it really speeds things up.
  
• Call screening:  Would you like to restrict access on a TelstraClear Calling Card to essential numbers only? You can specify where calls can be made from and to; marvellous if you want to pay for your teenager's calls back home, but not their entire phone bill!
